Database provides access to basic descriptive data, inventories and other information about this type of collections of the Slavonic Library.
Special collections consist of documents of non-library or unusual library formats that are not included in the regular library collection and therefore cannot be found through the online catalogue of the Slavonic Library.
These include written and visual documents, artworks, ex-libris, posters, leaflets, photographs, and selected cartographic documents.
The database contains information only about those collections that have been catalogued and are available to users.
Digitised documents from special collections section are available in the esbirky.cz portal, which enables online browsing of digitised collection items of Czech museums and galleries and is operated by the National Museum.
